Welcome: Boy Scout Troop 271

WELCOME TO BOY SCOUT TROOP 271' s WEBSITE

We are located in Bellefontaine United Methodist Church, 10600 Bellefontaine Road at the corner of Bellefontaine and Belgrove. Our Troop has been at this location for 58 years and in that time , 106 young men have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and we now are proud to have 26 active members.

With the continued support of our Leaders, Scouts, Church, Parents, Community and Local Businesses, we are able to provide our active scouts and new members with the tools, equipment, camping ,activities and the ability to serve our community!

All of us in Troop 271 are committed to the success of each and every young man and believe with everyones support we can provide what is needed for every boy to have a tremendous scouting experience, with the ultimate goal of achieving the rank of Eagle and moving on to have a successful adult life!

If you or anyone you know would like their young men to join a very fun and exciting troop, please give Scout Master Tim Woelbling a call @ 314-838-9887 cell 314-267-6212 or email woelbling@sbcglobal.net Also if anyone has a boy in grades 1 thru 5 that would like to join our Cub Scout Pack you can contact Cub Master Lisa Morgan@ 314-610-9664 or visit her site www.cubscoutpack271.scoutlander.com

Meetings are held every Sunday, at Bellefontaine United Methodist Church in the Church basement from 3 to 4:30 p.m. No meetings are held after camp outs or special events that occur on any given Sunday, or at the discretion of the Scout Master. All Scouts and their parents are encouraged to attend. Important information on upcoming events and other troop business is discussed at this time, also merit badge work is done by the scouts and games are played as well. At certain times of the year the Scout Master may hold separate parent meetings, it is important that every parent try to attend.
