Throughout the year, Troop 271 holds fundraising events to better provide it's Boy Scouts with many things! Summer Camp is always a major expense and without help, parents are left to pay the entire amount. For some in today's uncertain economy this can be an unneeded frustration. Also, we can replace aging equipment, like tents and many other things used on a regular basis.Troop 271 goes on many camp outs during the year and weather ages our equipment fast! There are so many other things we would like to provide for our Scouts without relying on our Parents to fund everything.

We as a Troop do two major things during the year to raise money. First , we hold an annual trivia night in February and second, in the spring and summer months we hold car washes. these two events along with popcorn sales in the fall provide us with funds to help with the above mentioned things.

If you own a business or know someone who does we can always use donations for the trivia night, and donations of equipment for our car washes. If you don't, please patronize our events!
